Tuition & Fees

Tuition: 

Fall 2012 Rate -$390 Per Credit Hour Regardless of Residence

[Approximately $6,240 per Semester (based on 16 cr. hrs.)]

Fees for all courses at both campuses:

$60 Per Credit Hour

[Range of Costs for 1-16 hrs. = $60 - $960]

Proficiency Examination Fee:

Lab Equipment Fee for N201 and N210: 

$50 for each course

[$100 total for both courses]

Fees Associated with N408: 

Graduation $185 & Kaplan Review $399

[$584 total]

LCN/Charleston Student Health Insurance Fee: 

$109.95 (Fall and Spring 2011-2012 rate)

$87.45 (Summer 2012)

(For LCN/Charleston Students Only - Must submit waiver and proof of other insurance to EIU Insurance Office to be exempt from charge)

Please Note:

LCN/Charleston students may check their billing for fees through EIU's PAWS system. Students have access to PAWS from EIU's homepage: http://www.eiu.edu or the PAWS website: http://www.eiu.edu/paws. New students will need their EIU Net ID and Net Password in order to access PAWS.

*Clinical Dress Code

All students are to purchase a student uniform through the vendor specified by Lakeview College of Nursing.  The student uniform will consist of dark navy blue pants, white collared polo shirt with the LCN logo, and white lab coat with an LCN patch on left shoulder. The student uniform should fit the student properly.  White socks must be worn along with CLEAN white shoes with no color markings, closed toes and heels.  More information on appropriate clinical dress code will be provided following admission into the BSN program and is also available here.
